Siraj was born on 13 March 1994 in Hyderabad, Telangana. Siraj childhood was not very good his father was a auto rickshaw driver, and his mother is a housewife.Siraj father Mohd. Ghaus, who lived poor life, for run the house siraj father used to earn the money by any means.Siraj dreams to play for India. Siraj dreams to stop his father to drive a auto rickshaws and buy a house for her mother Shabana.

All the dreams come true.All dreams of siraj comes to true when he was brought by sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2017 for 2.6 crores.In 2018 he was bought by royal challengers Bengaluru RCB in 2018 IPL auction in January.

Cricket Career

Cricket debut-Siraj made his cricket debut in 2015 on 15 November for hyderabad in 2015-16 Ranji Trophy tournament under coach Karthik Udupa.

T20 debut

Siraj made his t20 debut on 2 January 2016 in Syed mushtaq Ali trophy 2015-16In 2016-17 Ranji trophy tournament, he was the highest wicket taker for hyderabad with 41 wickets with average of 18.92.In 2018, february, he was leading wicket taker in Vijay Hazare trophy 2017-18.He was named in India’s a squad Deodhar trophy 2018-19 in October 2018.He was named in India’s B squad Deodhar trophy  2019-20 in October 2019.

He became the first bowler in the history of Indian premier league (IPL) to bowl back to back maiden overs in a single match.

 

International Cricket Career

He was selected in T20 international (T20I) squad in 2017 October for their series against New Zealand he made his debut on 4 November 2017 he takes the first wicket of Kane Williamson.He was selected for T20 international in 2018 squad for Nidahas Trophy.He was selected for test  squad in September 2018 for series against West Indies  but he did not play.He was selected for ODI in 2018 December for the series against Australia make his debut on 15 January 2019 in Adelaide, Oval.

 

In October 2020 following an injury to Mohammed Shami after some deliberation between Siraj and Navdeep Saini, Siraj was selected for the test is squad for their series again Australia on October 26 ,2020 then he make his  debut for India on 26^th December 2020 against Australia.

He taken the first wicket of test of Marnus Labuschange.During the 4^th test series in January 2021 against Australia Siraj took his 5  haul wicket in test cricket.He took 4 wickets in first ODI against New Zealand ODI series.Siraj played important role for team India,which helped the team India to win the match for 12 runs.

Siraj became the No.1 ODI baller in ICC, ODI ranking on 21 January 2023.

Siraj was selected for Asia Cup 2023 on 21 August to play for IndiaHe taken 4 wickets in an over He became the joint fastest bowler to take 6 wicket haul in ODI.His career best figure 6/21 and became the first Indian to take 4 wickets in an over on 17 September 2023.

He won the player of the match in Asia Cup finals on 17 September 2023.

He dedicated his prize to the ground staff of stadium on Asia Cup finals.
